Back at the moment. . .

Assalaamu alaykum!!

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I last made a post. . .I've been TERRIBLE about keeping up with this blog :-( BooHoo My apologies.

Life has been getting in the way and I've had no time to actually sit down and write anything worth reading since I started my job. Alhamdullilah for work, but booooooo for no blogging time! LoL No, no. . .alhamdullilah for everything!

I do have some posting ideas in mind and I really want to keep them faith oriented as that is the reason I first started this blog. Sadly, I haven't written much about faith in a long time and I feel so terrible about that. My iman has struggled tremendously lately, but I really want to get back on track and start living my life for the right reasons. Insha'Allah. My biggest fear (besides a cruel death) is being strayed from the true path.

I've recently heard some things in regards to how to go about learning and living an Islamic life, but, to be honest, I always seem to come across things that I just cannot agree with. For one, apparently there should be no sense of humor when discussing matters of our religion. Eh, I will address this, most likely, in another post, but just wanted to give a heads up on it. Also, "guilty by association" is another topic I feel needs to be addressed desperately.

Anyhow, life really has been great most recently, alhamdullilah. Job is well, family is great and my husband and I are doing great!! Yay Yay Yay! Couldn't ask for anything more except stronger faith to live on.

Love you all for the sake of Allah (swt) <3

  1. It's nice to read you again :)
The best way to get your imaan back on track is to read a lot of Quran, maybe pray some sunnah prayers and also read good websites on Islam :) I know it can be hard when you're busy though. Good luck :)

  2. I am glad to read you again Elisa! I misses you a lot but I am happy to see life is great for you and you are doing fine.......these are fabulous news.

We are all struggling more or less with our faith but the most important I think is to realize it and make some changes.

Looking forward reading more soon. Take care and have a lovely week-end.
