I just finished reading this from a lovely sister, Riham, over at Beauty of Islam. Very thought provoking for those of you, like me, who tend to miss prayers. Astagfirullah. Let's all try our hardest to complete our prayers that are obligated to us, insha'allah.
THOSE WHO DO NOT SAY THEIR PRAYERS OF:
FAJR : the glow of their face is taken away.
ZUHR : the blessing of their income is taken away.
ASR : the strength of their body is taken away.
MAGHRIB : they are not benefited by their children.

ISHA : the peace of their sleep is taken away.
SAYINGS (HADITH) OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam)
The one who disdains prayers (Salat) will receive Fifteen punishments from Allah..
Six punishments in this lifetime
Three while dying
Three in the grave
Three on the Day of Judgment.
THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE :
1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate)
2. Allah does not accept his plea (Dua’s)
3. Allah erases the features of good people from his face.
4. He will be detested by all creatures on earth.
5. Allah does not reward him for his good deeds. (No thawab)
6. He will not be included in the Dua’s of good people.
THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE DYING :
1. He dies humiliated.
2. He dies hungry.
3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will
still be thirsty.
THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE :
1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other.
2. Allah pours on him fire with embers.
3. Allah sets on him a snake called ‘the brave’, ‘the bold’ which hits
him from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajrprayer, from the
afternoon until Asr for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each
strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground.
THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT :
1. Allah sends who would accompany him to hell pulling him on the face.
2. Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall down.
3. Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell.

I read this somewhere. :) I find this very . . . uhh, well, I don't know how to describe it.
ReplyDeleteIs this in the Qur'an? I mean, you said that one of the punishments is that Allah [SWT] would make one's life misfortunate. But then, a few days ago, I read an Islamic quote, "This life is a Paradise for Non-Believers and a prison for Believers." Also, I read that if Allah burdens you with problems, it means that He loves you and wants you to stay strong.
Another thing - is it true Allah does not accept duas for people who don't pray? I read that Allah [SWT] either accepts duas, finds better use, or stores them as good deeds.
LOL, I'm so sorry for "annoying" you, but I'm a little confused.
:)
Salaam Layla!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you do NOT annoy me! LoL Stop being so silly :p
You know what? I've read all of those things you mentioned as well. I get confused too. HaHa What I posted was something I read on another sisters blog (the link should be in the post) and it spoke to me at the time. Really, I just thought it was good motivation to start praying, but I do truly believe that Allah will test us (due to his love) when a calamity befalls us. I will have to do some more research in the Qur'an. That is my first choice of truth and if it contradicts anything else I read, I forget about whatever it was. Know what I mean? Insha'Allah I will get back to you soon with more information. Thank you for this comment, though! It's making me work my brain some more. LoL
Salaam Layla!!!
ReplyDeleteBlogger has been acting seriously weird lately on my side. I already responded to your comment, but I guess it didn't post or something? In case you didn't catch it earlier, I was basically saying that I agree with what you mentioned. I simply liked this post because it was a good reminder for me to get off my lazy butt and pray! LoL
As for duas being accepted by those who do not pray, I will have to do further Quranic research on that. And remember, you NEVER annoy me!! I very much appreciate your comment because it forces me to think some more :) Thank you my dear sister!!! May Allah bless you and your loved ones. Ameen.
sooooooooooooo?? has AF showed her ugly face yet? did you get a BFP??
ReplyDelete@Elisa: Yes, it was a lovely message, indeed. :) I'm glad I didn't annoy you, LOL! You are so sweet and kind, Sister!
ReplyDeleteI love you blog, BTW! :D
Awww thank you Layla! You're so sweet, masha'allah!!!
ReplyDeleteit was interesting to read your comments, I really agree with Layla, but it is true that what you have posted is good to remind us how important it is the salat in our lives.
ReplyDeleteAlabasterMuslim: sorry I didn't comment you back here. . .I wrote it in a post though!!
ReplyDeleteLaila: You know, I agree with Laila too :) You're right though. . .it's a good reminder.
