Asslaamu Alaykum Lovies,
For a long time now I've been wanting to have children. I am 26 years old and never in my wildest thoughts did I think I would still be without a child at this age. Ever since I can remember I dreamt of the day I would have a little one of my own. My husband and I came to an agreement before we got married that we would wait until we are 28 to start trying, but, not to my surprise, my eagerness to start sooner has come on strong. I've talked about it a few times in previous posts as well. After my constant begging and pleading (HeHeHe) my husband has agreed to trying once every two months! LoL This sounds pretty funny, yeah? Well, I'm sooooooo excited!!! I know I may not get pregnant right away, but I'm just super happy I get the opportunity to at least TRY! So now I need your help! Yes, YOU! Please, please, please make du'a for us. Not just du'a to get pregnant, but also for us to keep stable, financially and emotionally/mentally, so it's possible to have a child/children right away. PLEASE!
I thank you in advance :)
YAY! I'm so happy!!!! I will start tracking my ovulation and learn about anything that can help us to conceive. If you have any advice please share!
That's wonderful Elisa, I am so happy for you, I'll pray for you both. May it happen soon.
ReplyDeleteI was admiring babies at a friend party yesterday, thinking once we will be settle properly it would be my wish as well to have some children quickly.
All the best!!
salaam alaikum Elisa,
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Try not to stress too much! I too wanted babies at an early age but didnt get married until I was 27 (just turned) and ended up pregnant at 29 (had just turned 29 lol). Im now 30 and thankful that we had our daughter now and not earlier. I think it too us 8 months of trying before I got pregnant. I also wanted to add that before I got pregnant my husband had just lost his job which was stressful for us since we were trying to have a baby. SubhanaLlah, not 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant he got a call from a job he had applied for to come in for a second interview. A week later he had this new, amazing job alhamdulillah! Ill keep you in my duas =)
Thank you so so much ladies!!! I really appreciate your comments and advice!! I know it will happen when Allah wills it to happen so I don't think I'll stress about it. I'm just happy to be able to finally TRY, you know? I think now that there will be that slight possibility of getting pregnant I will be so excited. LoL
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you all updated :) Right now I'm trying to figure out my ovulation timing. At least there are plenty of ovulation calculators online. Not 100% accurate, but better than nothing!!
Once every two months? I've never TTC (tried to conceive), but wouldn't it make sense to just do it unprotected everytime? I'm sorry if that's too personal, lol, I'm just a bit confused as to why you wouldn't just make every time you were intimate an opportunity...?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my husband and I were not trying to get pregnant...we were both still in school and not living together at the time so it was not the plan! Our son is honestly the greatest gift from God, though! I couldn't imagine my life without him! I can't help with ovulation calculators and whatnot because I've never messed with such things, but I can certainly make du'a for you!
Nikki,
ReplyDeleteI know it totally sounds strange to try only once every two months!! LoL My husband, though, really wants to wait till we are 28 to even try for kids and I want them ASAP so, as some sort of weird way of compromising, he said we could try once every two months. Better than nothing!!! HeHeHe Thank you for your du'a! It means a lot to me :) I know Allah will bless us with a child when the time is right!
AH omg congratulations!! Have fun with it ;). Since you know to track ovulation i'm sure you know when to do the deed lol so inshallah everything will turn out great!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to share a great site its called www.babycenter.com I basically lived on that site during my pregnancy. There are so many groups you can join for women who are trying to get pregnant etc. I learned so much on that site and love all the great advice the women give.
ReplyDeleteAlabasterMuslim,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much my dear :) Insha'Allah, it won't take too long to get preggers!
Rene,
Thank you so much for the site! I'm going to check it out right away!
I pray that Allah swt grants you the sweetest children; who are good, healthy kids and who grow up to be great people whom Allah swt is pleased with! :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you have been given an inspiration award at my blog, check it out dear when you have time ;)
Aww inshaAllah He will bless you with children when it is the right time (that could be anytime ;)) You'll make a great Mum inshaAllah a million times!
ReplyDeletep.s. LOL, Glad you enjoyed Four Lions.
I just realised how funny that last sentence sounds. I meant to say inshaAllah x1 million, not that you'll have a million kids LOL. Gosh this is what studying too much does to ya.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, MashaAllah, that is good news. InshaAllah, Allah will bless you and your husband and keep your marriage strong.
ReplyDeleteTry ovulation apps on your phone. Takes all the guess work out of it. InshaAllah we hear soon some good news!
It takes a while (especially if you're aiming for every two months), but do not lose hope and just keep making du'a. I will keep you in my du'as and prayers. Good luck, lol!
