Assalam alaykum!
So to kick off day 1, here is some info on my relationship status. I am MARRIED, Alhamdullilah! I'm sure you readers have already picked up on this if you have read previous posts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my husband!! Seriously, he is amazing, masha'allah <3
We got married November 1, 2009 and have been going strong since! I won't lie and say the first year of marriage has been pure bliss. We've had our ups and downs, but, just like any successful marriage, we work out our issues and move on. One thing I've learned is to pick your fights. Seriously, us women can be incredibly picky and naggy (or maybe it's just me?) a little TOO much. Don't be so hard on your man, but don't let him get away with everything that bothers you. Know when to speak up and keep quiet! I'm still learning, but alhamdullilah I'm learning fast :)
Also, a HUGE lesson learned is to NEVER NEVER NEVER bring up a past argument or problem. YIKES! When an argument is done and over with, FORGET ABOUT IT! Or at least vow to never slap your partner in the face with it in the future.

I am married also :) In March of 2009. Looks like I beat you by what, eight months? lol. Alhamdullilah we are incredibly in love alhamdullilahhh *say alhamdullilah lol* and the fights stay to a minimum. I agree with keeping past incidents in the past!!! And a little piece of advice to keep the Man happy (for everyone :D) is to make sure you let him know you appreciate how hard he works for you and your family. Just like I don't like being under appreciated, I know my husband wouldn't either.
