Day Twenty-One: Something you wish you could forget.


I wish I could forget all the times I let anger get the best of me. Forgive me, Lord. At times I get so angry that I feel like my blood is boiling and I start saying things I don't always mean. It gets rough. Luckily, I've learned to keep my cool much better these days, but I still wish I could forget my not-so-cool moments. Yikes!
No worries about the picture though. . .we later made up:

    I too sometimes let my anger get the best of me. What works for me is going for a walk or taking a deep breath and counting to 100 to help myself relax. Im im in a situation where someone is making me angry, I leave the room so I can cool off!

    Yeah I've always been fighting my anger! I'm definitely the person who says stuff they don't mean when they get mad. You say something, i'll make sure I top it. Butt alhamdullilah I've gotten sooo much better in the past few years, especially since I've been married. My husband is the kind who stays quiet when he's mad (probably why we get along so well otherwise i'd fly off the handle lol) and has taught me to well..shut up! lol.

    I was just thinking about how we let our emotions get the best of us sometimes. Sometimes I wonder why Allah swt gave us the ability to have feelings... like negative feelings because it's a such huge test for us.
