Days 24, 25, 26, 27 & 28

Assalam alaykum, lovies!

Yowza! I've been slacking, huh? I have 5 days that need to be made up so here goes. . .

Your favorite movie and what it's about.

I can honestly say that I don't have a favorite movie. There are many movies that I enjoy, but a favorite changes from time to time. What I can tell you all, though, is that my favorite type of movies to watch are foreign films. Just yesterday I watched a movie called The Wedding Song that I fully enjoyed. It took place in Jerusalem during WWII. These two young teenage girls, one Muslim and one Jewish, grew up as best friends. Their story shows their intense love for one another and struggles to hold strong onto the bond they have. It was a very heart warming film.




Someone who fascinates you and why.

At the top of my head, I can only think of two people. The virgin Mary and Mother Teresa of Calcutta. It would be a pleasure to be able to spend time with them in paradise, insha'allah. I would love to know all about their thoughts and views and be inspired by their love for Allah and love for others. Such beautiful women, masha'allah.



What kind of person attracts you.

Honest, kind people attract me. The "old fashioned" types as well. I'm not much into the modern scene of having fun by partying and gossiping. Makes no sense to me, really. I would enjoy spending time with loved ones baking something new or talking about a good book over tea. Seriously, I'm very much that way.
Most of all, people who show their love for Allah in all their actions and words attract me. They are most inspiring and I hope one day I can inspire others in the same way, insha'allah.



A problem that you have had.

Seriously? Where would I even begin? No, no, no. I don't want to go into great detail about any problems I may have had in the past. Insha'allah, we will all grow stronger from our trials and persevere with much patience and love for Allah. 


Something that you miss.

It's easy for me say that what I miss most is my family. My parents, sister, brother and nephews. I wish we could all live closer, but when I get down about it I just remember that my husband has to be an ocean away from his family. We are in this together, alhamdullilah.
