How have you changed in the past two years?
Two years ago was a pretty exciting time in my life. I was a baby Muslim and excited about what the future would hold. Around this time two years ago I was in the developing stages of my feelings for my husband. I would have never guessed we'd be married, though! Also, I was in the process of planning my trip for that summer. . .should I go to India or Morocco? We all know what I chose.
At this time two years ago I was working on my degree (and still am). Still living at home with the parentals and just enjoying what Allah has given me :)
Today, I am married, living 8 hours from my family and still excited about the future, alhamdullilah! My faith in the past two years has had its ups and down and, I won't lie, is a constant struggle for me lately so it seems. My love for Allah is still super strong and I'm struggling to be the Muslim I want to be. Insha'allah.
Life has a funny way of working out, don't you think? The past two years have been nothing short of an adventure, masha'allah.
