Day Five: A picture of something you love.

It was difficult to pick just one thing that I love. The world is a beautiful place, how can anyone pick just ONE thing? Well, after browsing through photos saved on my computer, I came upon this picture taken while I was vacationing in Sicily during the summer of 2008. Sicily is a home base for me. Although I've moved around my entire life, Sicily is where I consider myself to have really grown. It holds a special place in my heart. Also, look at those waters! I used to go to the beach nearly every day during the hot summer months that I lived there. Nothing compares to the peacefulness I felt swimming in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean.

Something I love - Sicily and the waters surrounding this beautiful island. There is a saying in Sicily that goes like this:

"When God created the world, He created Sicily with a kiss."

I couldn't agree more.
