Assalam Alaykum Lovies!!
Sorry I missed out on another day. Yesterday was great alhamdullilah! The husband and I went to an outlet mall near by and did some shopping. For me, I got nothing! HaHaHa

Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.

I am a Gemini, but being Muslim I don't take much consideration into the whole astrology thing. It's said Gemini's have two personalities. Who doesn't? LoL

That's all my dears! Sorry if I bored you. Till next time. . .

  1. About the dog thing :) You are allowed to have them for hunting/protection purposes, and they have to stay outside. Oh, and only their saliva is unclean. If the saliva touches your clothing you have to scrub the spot once with dirt/sand and six times with water. (Dirt has natural uh germ killers lol). If you own a dog for other reasons you not only sin, but your good deeds decrease. Angels do not enter the house if you have the dogs inside.

So that being said (and its not against you I was just letting you know lol I'm not saying you are doing anything haraam) those sisters totally could have come to your house!!

Al-Bukhaari (2145) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, a qiraat from his good deeds will be deducted every day, except a dog for farming or herding livestock.”

*Qiraat is a unit of measurment

Ibn Maajah (3640) narrated from ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah.

And these hadith are classified as "saheeh/sahih" meaning authentic and true :D

  2. Salam sister!!!

Thank you so much for you comment :) I've been told about those hadiths. Since I adore dogs so much I'm sure it will be some time before I decide to not let my dog(s) live inside. Especially on cold nights. Hmmmmmmm, maybe I can build them their own little home fully equipped with a heater for the cold nights and a/c for the hot ones. Sounds like a fun project, right? LoL
Also, what about all the poor, homeless dogs on the street suffering because they have no one to take care of them? I would like to believe if I took one in and gave it a loving home God would be very pleased with that. Oh man, sometimes it's complicated being a convert! But, ALHAMDULLILAH!!!
Thank you so so so much!!! Allah bless you :)
