I was thinking how awesome it would be to go old school and have a pen pal from another country! Anyone interested?
I miss getting letters in the mail.

Ruwa, I totally agree with you. Computers are great, but you can't get that special something from an email like you can through a written letter. As for precious pearl, insha'allah I will start it soon. I'm still dealing with some things and want to wait till I have a good grasp on it before I start precious pearl :) You're interest sure does motivate me though. Thank you so much! I used to have sooo many pen pals. My church would hand out a little "magazine" to preteens that always listed addresses of penpals on the back. I got a lot that way, and often I would get addresses -through- those pen pals of others interested in writing.
I would be soooo excited to check the mail everyday hoping for a letter. The only international pen pal I had was from Italy and through a school project...she only wrote back to me twice. :(
Anyway, I know I'm from the boring old U.S., but I would be interested in writing letters. I think we often have similar ideas (at least from reading your blog and being your friend on FB...remember, I'm Lisa there) so I think it'd be great if we could correspond through snail mail.
If you're interested, message me on facebook and I'll give you my address that way.
wonderful idea!! i used to have a penpal long before the dawning of the internet! it used to be so exciting. mine was from greece and it took FOREVER to get the letters lol.
Sorry it took me so long to reply! Life is weird right now. HaHa So I have an idea. Would you ladies prefer writing letters one on one to each other or would you like to have one notebook where we can ALL write to each other. I could get a notebook and be the first to write and then send it off to the next person who sends it to the next. . .you get the idea :) Let me know what you prefer. No matter what you decide, I'm cool with it. Just excited to start writing letters again!
Love having Penpals! I subscribed to a penfriend progremme last year - Computer and Internte are great and fast but nothing compares to a letter on your mailbox! If you are still interested, drop me a line. In the meantime know you are in my prayers in this time of hardship. Take care.
